About the venue: An Irish bar and restaurant rated 4.4 from around 630 reviews, mid-priced, open from 4pm Wednesday and Thursday to midnight. It is explicitly set up for functions — several reviewers describe hosting private parties and open-bar events, praising how easy the organisers made it — which makes it one of the more event-ready venues in the set.
Getting there: The venue is on Willow Avenue in uptown Hoboken. Note that Hoboken Terminal — the PATH, NJ Transit and ferry hub — is 2km south, a twenty-six-minute walk, so do not assume it is on the doorstep; take the bus or a short rideshare from the terminal. A bus stop at 14th Street and Park Avenue is a minute away. For anyone coming from Manhattan, PATH to Hoboken then a five-minute cab is the practical route.
