Funny Women Awards 2019

The inimitable Funny Women and Hoxton Hall have joined forces to host the first and second Heat of the 2019 Funny Women Awards on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th May. Join us to see the next generation of talent on their way to stardom and perform stand up, sketch and musical comedy and compete for a coveted place in the Grand Final.

The Funny Women Awards were established in 2003 and have become a key fixture on the UK’s comedy calendar. The Awards have become an important launch pad for many talented performers including past Awards alumni Katherine Ryan, Zoe Lyons, Susan Calman, Kerry Godliman, Sara Pascoe, London Hughes, Bridget Christie, Sarah Millican, Rachel Parris and Desiree Burch.

Last but not least, 2018 Funny Women Awards Winner, actor, comedian and writer Thanyia Moore will be hosting the awards on Friday night. This is a unique opportunity to see the start of some amazing careers. Your opinion counts as the audience has an opportunity to vote on who goes through. The winner will be announced at a later date.
