Musical Medicine ft. Jive Talk

As we all crawl towards reality after the summer, we are buzzed to be bringing London-based groove shepherds Jive Talk for their first headline show in Oxford. In 2017 our residents had the pleasure of playing before these two dudes and their infectious knowledge of the groove made their set something we couldn't forget in a hurry. With a real host of party experience on the East side of London, the boys have been honing their craft in some of the funkiest establishments such as Oslo, NT's, Near and Far and Shoreditch Platform. They are also part of the Gottwood all stars and have held down a stage for 2 years on the bounce, something that not a lot of selectors can boast. 2018 has seen the duo take to the physical realm with their first 12" released on new imprint where they act as co-founders: Not For You. With early support from the likes of Detroit Swindle, this 3 track plate of goodness has summer written all over it. The syncopated, driven bass line of 'Love Jones' carves out what is an interesting and well-produced bumper.
