Post-punk ‘art-indie’ collective O’Phantom emerged from Hull’s fiercely independent music scene, crafting a sound that blends the city’s rugged Northern spirit with influences from Parquet Courts, Deerhunter, and Metronomy. Rooted in Yorkshire's gothic history and DIY ethos, they embrace the lo-fi aesthetic, crafting songs that feel both ethereal and unsettling.
Beyond their own releases, O’Phantom remain deeply embedded in Hull’s grassroots music culture.
Members of the band are involved in the city’s beloved venue Polar Bear Music Club and collaborate with independent artists and promoters across the region, fostering a creative community that mirrors their own collaborative and proudly Northern spirit.
