Mason house London is the latest addition to the nightclub scene and has a big reputation to live up to for those of you that were dismayed at he closure of one of London’s most iconic clubs Movida.
New and exclusive nightclub, Mason House opened in November 2013.
Mason House is London’s most significant and exquisite nightlife offering. Situated in Argyll Street, Mason House is built amidst the vaults of the London Palladium. Its name dates back to 1737, when the majority of residents on Argyll Street were Masons.
Built to mimic a Masonic temple, expect a dark and exposed brick 5,000 square foot space complete with different rooms, chequered dance floors and a 7am closing time.
The raw brick arches and other original features of the 5,000 ft space have been meticulously restored, to create a unique, elegant, international atmosphere. Visitors will enter the club through a crypt, and then choose whether to spend their time in either the Main Club Room or the exclusive Room 33. Set out across multi-raised levels, the Main Club Room will have a black and white chequered dance floor, complete with 30 tables, offering bottle and waitress service to the 415 person capacity space. Room 33 is the alternative music room, with a secret door, operating on an invitation only basis. A Funktion 1 state-of-the-art sound system will operate throughout the entire club, and some of the world’s leading DJ’s will be in charge of the music. Time to party like a erm, Freemason.
