Monopoly Events is proud to bring you another new exciting concept as we mix the two greatest decades of all time, the 80s and 90s! A lot of the events that we do are inspired by my memories of growing up as a child and this one is certainly no exception. 

Growing up in the 80s and 90s this event is so exciting, and I think anybody who grew up in those decades will be besides themselves with excitement with this event. 

Lets look a little more in depth into some of the incredible reunions we have put together, and some of the amazing set and prop recreations many of them fan made. That is our ethos, made by fans for the fans and we let fans get involved with our shows on a huge scale.

Lost Boys UK Exclusive 
We are honored to bring you another Monopoly Events UK Exclusive. The Lost Boys was a cult 80s movie and at this years event we have the lead actor from the film Jason Patric who played Michael Emerson. 

Police Academy Official Reunion – For the Love of 80s
Monopoly Events brings you another exclusive, Steve Guttenberg’s first ever appearance in Europe! Steve was known in police academy for portraying Carey Mahoney, known for being a troublemaker, womanizer but with a heart of gold. A Hollywood star I used to look upto as a child. He is also known for his roles in Cocoon, Short Circuit, and Three Men and a Baby. 

Joining Steve will be Michael Winslow who played Larvell Jones one of the key characters in the series and is famous for making sound effects with his voice. 

Marion Ramsey who played Hooks will also be joining the reunion, she is a diminutive, soft-spoken and unassertive woman with a very high-pitched voice, who often has trouble putting people in line. However, she is known for becoming aggressive and authoritative when frustrated or otherwise pushed to her limit

Finally Leslie Easterbrook who play Debbie Callaghan best known for her pure sex appeal specifically her large breasts, which provided the series with countless sight gags, and penchant for wearing tight fitting clothing.

Gremlins Official Reunion – For the Love of 90s 
Another huge 80s reunion as we reunite most of the main cast of Gremlins. Zach Galligan who played the lead role will appear alongside his mother in the film Lynn Peltzer (Frances Lee McCain) and Judge Reinhold who was famous for a string of huge 80s films including Beverly Hills Cop alongside Eddie Murphy. 

We not only have the guests, but also Gizmo and the Gremlins puppets! Also in attendance will be Mark Dodson who voiced the Gremlins, and we have an animatronic Gizmo who will sit at Zach’s table. How cool is that! You can meet Billy Peltzer with Gizmo who sings and says all the phrases from the film! The group photo shoot will also take part in the kitchen scene from the film with the Gremlin in the food processor.

Baywatch Special – For the Love of 90s
Guys this one is for you as we bring three of the sexiest Baywatch babes to you for an exclusive triple photo shoot. Angelica Bridges, Brande Roderick, and Erika Eleniak (also star of 80s blockbuster E.T). We will have the Baywatch backdrop for the photo, another once in a lifetime opportunity. 

Street Hawk Special 
When I was a kid I used to ride my BMX and put my hood over my head and pretend I was Street Hawk. Jesse Mach is an ex-motorcycle cop injured in the line of duty and recruited for a top-secret government mission to ride Street Hawk - a combat motorbike designed to fight crime. Now he has been recruited by the young boy that used to watch him on TV as a kid, Comic Con welcomes Rex Smith to Manchester AND his Street Hawk bike will be here too! 

Short Circuit Special 
Get your picture taken with Newton Crosbie and Johnny 5! Once in a lifetime opportunity not to be missed, as Steve Guttenberg makes his first appearance now just in the UK but in Europe, what an honour it is to have him with us in Manchester!

Star Wars Cantina Bar Shoot Out with Greedo
Step inside the big screen “Star Wars A New Hope”. Sit in the Cantina booth facing Paul Blake (Greedo) and have your picture taken in the same famous position that Harrison Ford took up with his trusted blaster. Tim Rose (Admiral Ackbar) will also be in the Cantina. A real treat for Star Wars fans!

Prop and Set Builds 
If that was not enough for all you 80s and 90s fans to have an overdose we have not started on the staple diet of our fans which are prop and set recreations. This year we have some fantastic prop and set builds many of them made by super fans like Ben Franklin and Carl Worsdell.

Gaming fans this one is for you as we dedicate an entire arena to 80s and 90s gaming.

Our wonderful traders really make the event special and you can find a wide variety of products that will suit all tastes no matter how weird or wonderful they may be.

Live Q&A and Stage performances
We have interactive live Q&A’s on stage running all day, where you get your chance to meet and ask our famous guests a question. All filmed and broadcast live around the world, you may just find yourself on TV! Other live stage related activities throughout the day.

Cosplay Competitions and Panels
Cosplay competitions with prizes to be won will operate throughout the weekend along with panels from some of our leading cosplay guests.

Top Of The Pops Afterparty  
DJ Shaun Lever will be playing the best in 80s and 90s classic anthems in the Cantina Space Bar. The afterparties we have on our conventions are now infamous and if you have not experienced a Cantina afterparty with our cosplayers and aliens you really have not lived! This is a must, party from 6pm on the Saturday until the early hours.
