Shropshire Music Meetup

Shropshire Music Meetup is a fortnightly get together organised by CultureTainment CIC. It’s aim is to build a better network within the community and beyond, by encouraging conversations and connections between musicians and people connected to the music industry. Throughout the coming events we hope to:

• Facilitate collaboration between artists
• Carryout conversations on what we can do as a group to improve the music scene
• Conversations around music production, events, new ideas and future aims
• Create new and exciting teams with the aim of facilitating future projects
• A place where people can seek and/or provide music industry advice
• Discover and connect with new music and musicians
• Provide a friendly and safe space for people to talk, encouraging better mental wellbeing
• Providing a friendly and safe group for people who just wish to socialise and make new friends

The Event will take place every two weeks on a Wednesday evening at Alberts Shed in Southwater Telford, approx. 7.15 – 8.15pm. Conveniently, straight after our meetup is the free for all Jam Night where you can jump on stage and play your heart out. All skill levels are welcome.

We want a bigger and better equipped music community, and we want a more robust music industry, particularly for underground musicians and grass roots music venues, we are the lifeblood of music in the UK, let’s build together.
