IMPORTANT INFO

Location & Venue Info:

The Mezz at Gisburn Forest, Clitheroe, United Kingdom

The Mezz, an indoor space at Stephen Park, Gisburn Forest.

Although we're based within Gisburn Forest, this is not an outdoor event. You'll be enjoying live music inside a comfortable indoor venue, so there's no need to prepare for an outdoor concert.

Please note that camping is not permitted on-site, and we ask everyone to make travel arrangements before attending.

Unfortunately, The Mezz is not currently wheelchair accessible. We know this is disappointing and are committed to improving accessibility wherever possible. If you have any questions about access requirements, please get in touch before booking.

Scaled Ticket Pricing:

We believe live music should be accessible to as many people as possible. That's why, for this event series, we've introduced sliding-scale ticket pricing. Everyone enjoys exactly the same event, and the different ticket options simply reflect what you're able to contribute.

If you're in a position to pay a little more, your support helps us offer lower-cost tickets to others while continuing to pay artists fairly and develop grassroots live music in the Ribble Valley.

All tickets have an additional £0.75/£0.90 booking fee

Low Income: For anyone who would benefit from a lower ticket price. No proof or explanation is required. If this option makes attending possible for you, it's yours to use.

General Admission: Our standard ticket price. This reflects the true cost of attending while helping us continue to bring independent artists to the area.

General Admission + Donation: Pay a little extra to support the future of the series. Your donation helps keep tickets affordable, supports artist fees and enables us to continue building a sustainable grassroots live music programme.

Age Restriction:

These events are suitable for ages 12+.

Please be aware that performances may include strong language or other content intended for adult audiences.

Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult throughout the event.

Travel to Gisburn Forest + Car Sharing:

Gisburn Forest is a beautiful destination, but we know it's not the easiest place to reach without a car.

If you're driving, we'd love to encourage car sharing wherever possible. It's a great way to reduce costs, lessen our environmental impact and help more people attend.

Looking for a lift or happy to offer one? Get in touch and we'll do our best to connect people travelling from similar areas.

We also have 5 travel bursaries of £10 per person available for this show to help reduce the cost of attending. If travel costs are a barrier, please get in touch at soitgoesgang@gmail.com, we'd love to help make it possible for you to join us.

THE ARTISTS

BIKINI BODY

Bikini Body are your favourite DJ’s favourite punk band. They’ve released two records with Optimo Music, whose support helped shape their current trajectory and a sound that’s dancier than punk and punkier than dance.

Drawing on ESG, Liquid Liquid, Warmduscher and Squid, their sound pairs percussive grooves with a confrontational vocal style rooted in The Slits, Bush Tetras and X-Ray Spex.

Recent activity includes a 13-date UK co-headline tour with a sold-out London show, a packed-out headline set at The Windmill, Brixton, and festival appearances at Manchester Psych Fest, Hidden Door and Watching Trees. Airplay has followed across BBC Radio 6 Music, Radio 1, KEXP and NTS.

The band have just completed 10 new tracks at PRAH Studios in Margate. The new material leans even deeper into the sound they’ve been honing live; rhythmic, confrontational and built for both the dance floor and the DIY basement.

BEN KATZMAN

Ben Katzman is a vibrant, multifaceted musician who treats music not just as entertainment, but as transformation. A fan-favorite finalist on Survivor, Ben has carved out a singular lane as a solo metal artist whose mission goes far beyond the stage: to use sound, art, and his signature SHREDDING as tools to process emotion, spark empowerment, and help build the reality we actually want to live in. His music is a high-voltage fusion of metal, punk, rock, and pop packed with face-melting riffs, massive hooks, and lyrics that turn vulnerability into power. For Ben, shredding isn’t just a guitar technique; it’s a release valve, a celebration, and a call to action. Each solo becomes a way to metabolize chaos, channel joy, confront fear, and invite audiences to do the same. His songs celebrate empowerment, nostalgia, and the beautifully weird corners of modern culture, creating communal spaces where catharsis and connection collide.

Onstage, Ben’s infectious presence transforms concerts into shared rituals of emotional alchemy. Whether fronting his own band or touring as guitarist with Guerilla Toss, Mannequin Pussy, and Colleen Green, he brings humor, heart, and unfiltered intensity to every performance. He has shared bills with boundary-pushing icons like Primus, Coheed and Cambria, and Phish, turning each stage into a playground for possibility. Beyond performing, Ben is the creative force behind BUFU Records, an independent label dedicated to championing underground visionaries including Japanther, Tall Juan, Mac DeMarco, and Free Pizza. His work extends across mediums, from collaborations with Volcom and Red Bull to surf tours and cross-disciplinary art projects that blur the lines between music, lifestyle, and community-building.

At the core of everything Ben creates is a simple but radical idea: art is a tool. Through distortion, melody, and fearless self-expression, he invites people to feel deeply, laugh loudly, confront their shadows, and shred their way toward a brighter, more intentional tomorrow.
