Design, Gardens & Connections for Singles

Looking for a more meaningful way to meet other singles?

Join us for a relaxed social experience where design, culture and nature create the perfect setting for genuine conversations and new connections.

We'll begin at the Design Museum with a short welcome and introductions before dividing into small groups for two fun and interactive challenges.

Challenge 1: Childhood Memories

Each group will explore the museum, with everyone choosing one object or design that reminds them of childhood or a special memory. Sharing the stories behind your choices helps break the ice and sparks meaningful conversations within your group.

Each group will then select one favourite object to share with everyone later.

Challenge 2: The Hidden Object

The host will show each group a photograph of a hidden object somewhere in the museum. Working together, your challenge is to find it and recreate the same photograph. It's a fun way to explore the museum, notice the details and enjoy discovering the exhibits together.

Holland Park Social Walk

After the museum experience, we'll enjoy a relaxed walk through Holland Park, exploring:
• Holland House Ruins
• Dutch Garden
• Kyoto Garden
• Rose Garden & Orangery
• Woodland paths
• Peaceful ponds and hidden corners

Along the way there will be plenty of opportunities to chat, meet different people and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Garden Café Stop

We'll finish with a stop at one of the beautiful cafés within Holland Park, where you're welcome to stay for a coffee, drink or light lunch while continuing the conversations.

If you'd like to extend the experience, you're also welcome to join us for an optional visit to Japan House London to explore contemporary Japanese art, design and culture.

📍 Meeting Point & Schedule

We'll gather from 11:00 AM outside the main entrance of the Design Museum. Your host will be there to welcome everyone, and we'll spend a little time getting to know each other before heading inside.

Before the event, all attendees will be invited to join a private WhatsApp group, making it easy to receive any event updates, find the meeting point, and stay connected with the group before and after the experience.
