Join Space for Girls for a scenic beginner-friendly hike in Matlock, exploring the iconic High Tor and surrounding trails. Expect beautiful views, fresh air and wholesome girl time.

Meeting Point: Outside Matlock Train Station, DE4 3NA

Distance: 9.79km loop

Elevation: 350m gain

Duration: Approx. 3 hours (excluding breaks)

Hike Lead: Lois Yawson

Public transport available from Birmingham New Street (please check live times).

Parking at Station Car Park, DE4 3NA (pay and display).

Wear weather-appropriate clothing, sturdy footwear and bring water/snacks.

Please arrive a little early so we can set off around 11:30am.

We’ll wait a few minutes for late arrivals, but we’ll need to keep things moving so everyone finishes on time.
