Sunday 15th June at The Old England, Bristol - an afternoon of 80s post punk, chunky riffs and electronic vibes
The Usual Boys, inspired by the dirge of the Berlin club scene, as the angular sound of 80s Post Punk. Their sound is characterised by janky guitars and driving bass lines which underpin a dark, post-ironic take on a seemingly unending ascent into adulthood.
State are a dynamic trio of multi-instrumentalists from Bristol, blending post-punk, electronic, and alt-rock genres.
Jed and the Microwave is a Power Pop, Punk Rock outfit from Bristol. It is the kind of music that happens when you spend too many years sucking in special brew and black mold spores. An evolution of Jed Downey's Plain Microwave, expect chunky riffs and synths evocative of bands such as The Cars and The Replacements.
