Mates Rates Comedy Raw: Mr Badger Christmas Special

Reading has a new comedy open mic! Mates Rates Comedy is proud to present Mates Rates Comedy Raw, Reading's No1 stand up comedy open mic.

The show will take place on Monday 4 December between 7:30pm - 9:30pm (door open 7pm).

If you've ever been curious about how stand up comedy is made, wanted to catch a star of the future or just fancied a great night of comedy this show is for you.

Every first Monday, 5 new acts will take the stage at The Outlook in Reading.

Expect big laughs, moments of cringe, revelations... whatever happens it won't be dull!

Mr Badger may have a slightly tarnished past and his glory days are well behind him but after accidentally falling into the stand up comedy scene recently, his career is back on track and it won’t be long until the BBC are in touch again (for something other than a Jimmy Savile documentary).
Join this decrepit entertainer as he tries to make sense of the modern world via the gifts of music and magic.
