Following a 10,000 capacity show at Blackpool’s Tower Festival Headland in July, Blackpool’s favourite series of summer day time events; PierJam have just announced they will be back for a second date in 2022 on Saturday 24th September.

Now in its 8th year, the September event will see PierJam return back to where it all began, to the Iconic Blackpool North Pier and are excited to be back to the place fans all know and love just a few weeks after they are hosting a 10,000 capacity event just a stone's throw away on the Tower Festival Headland. The return to their spiritual home will also see  a host of the world’s leading artists and PierJam firm favourites take to the decks in this very special setting combining the quirks of Blackpool to create a uniquely individual event.

First up and widely regarded as one of the best DJs to grace planet earth, DJ EZ. Saluted by the industry for being one of the most creative mixers with instinct and technical prowess, not forgetting the mention of owning one of the quickest fingers in the trade with his trademark cue action displays during his sets, his distinctive sound and powerhouse sets always go down a treat with the crowd.

Next up, Holy Goof who is best known for his high energy sets featuring a fluid, bassline hybrid sound that is guaranteed to have the whole Pier bouncing. With tracks such as ‘Back Again’ and his massive remix of A$AP Fergs ‘Redlight’ under his belt, he is ever growing and has spent the last 12 months very much in the limelight of the Bass Music world. We are very excited to see him take to the decks at PierJam.

The Wideboys are joining them, an electronic dance duo from the UK with a garage style whose prolific production, remix, and DJ work was some of the most popular in the world after the turn of the century. Sullivan and Craig made their production debut as a duo with “All I Wanna Do” in 1998 on Union Jack Records. What made them famous was a pair of Artful Dodger remixes, “Re-Rewind” and “Woman Trouble” both of which featured Craig David and whose original versions were top ten hits on the UK singles charts.

Special guest Bass Music don Skepsis will be taking to the decks on the Pier once again. Often touring with his label CruCast and fellow bass DJs such as Darkzy and TS7,  his sets are filled with the naughtiest of drops and the heaviest of basslines that are sure to have the crowd going crazy.

They will be joined by none other than Hannah Wants who is without a doubt one of the brightest stars on the electronic music scene. Darius Syrossian wears his passion for music on every part of his existence, having his own radio show, Ibiza residencies, touring the world all because he loves the music.A DJ in the truest sense, whether that be abyss-deep house, or Detroit techno, the groove will always be there, unwavering as the emblem of his style.

PierJam also welcomes the return of Low Steppa, who is one of the most vital and influential house music artists on the scene. He’s a top ten selling artist on Beatport, releasing on some of the most well-respected labels including Defected, Armada and Strictly Rhythm. His unique sound and infectious energy behind the decks combined with his ferocious work ethic makes him one of the best.  Over the last few years, Low Steppa has made a sizable contribution to the house music canon with a run of singles of the utmost quality. Notable productions include the massive ‘Heard It All Before’ and ‘Runnin’ on Armada – both of which are currently sitting on streams of many millions – and his debut with the Defected Records, ‘You’re My Life’, which has capped an incredible few years working closely with the label, as he has become a regular fixture at their parties in London, Ibiza, Croatia and worldwide.

The September event will leave fans of the event-series satisfied following the Tower Festival event in July as they won’t need to wait long for their next chance to enjoy the fnfmous summer day time party. With more acts to be announced Pier Jam organisers are confident it will be not an event not to miss.
