Songkran - Thai new year

Songkran, the Thai New Year, is celebrated from April 13th to 15th. It's famous for its water festival, where people splash water on each other, symbolizing cleansing and washing away bad luck. This tradition comes from gently sprinkling water on elders as a blessing. Your university's Thai society is putting a modern twist on the celebration with a spicy wings contest and beauty pageants!
