Avenue Street are a 5-piece indie-rock band from the southside of Glasgow consisting of Connor ‘CJ’ Jamieson (Vocals and Guitar), Callum ‘Meechs’ Meechan (Bass Guitar), Bailey MacDonald (Drums), Declan Patrick Devine (Guitar) and Ewan Meechan (Guitar). The band, formed in 2023 by CJ and Meechs, who had been friends since high school, took shape when Meechs brought in Bailey and CJ brought in Dec, later adding Ewan to broaden their sound. They released their debut single ‘Bucharest’ on August 9th of 2024. From headlining their debut gig at Harley’s Sky Bar in Rutherglen to headlining King Tuts Wah Wah Hut on 3 occasions and a packed night in the Jacaranda Club in Liverpool these boys can go anywhere and show no signs of stopping anytime soon.
