Corporate Responsibility? Bringing Trusted Businesses and the Community together…

It’s fair to say, that the larger the business, the more resources they’ll generally be able to dedicate to supporting the communities in which the business operates. Most business owners are indeed, happy to support their communities but the BIG question remains, how best to go about this?

One shining example locally in 1066 Country is the largest private employer in the area, Hastings Direct. The team at Hastings Direct have dedicated programmes of volunteering and provide financial support to local good causes within Hastings and the surrounding area.

So, here at thebestof Hastings, we want to do what we say we do and bring our trusted business members and other local businesses together with some of the great local community groups within the area. The evening, Thursday 23 March 6.00-8.30pm, has kindly been sponsored by Hastings Direct and will be held in the 5th floor Board Room at Sussex Coast College, Station Plaza.

This is a FREE to attend event for both businesses and community groups, with an objective of sharing some of the community needs and then it will be for our business community to respond. We will be pleased to provide a welcome drink and light refreshments. If you’re reading this as a business owner, please don’t think we are after your money per se. It’s more about how you’re able to step up by maybe dedicating some of your skills or expertise to help charities or those working in education.
