To help celebrate we’re inviting crazy talent from the all the way across the pond, the continent, and down the M1 to Rock City to our Disco Inferno. To help us turn up the heat we’ll be welcoming the Lumberjacks In Hell RAHAAN & MARCEL VOGEL for a back to back set which is not to be misssd, after a high-octane blowout from non other than RIOT JAZZ with the devilish CHUNKY as master of ceremony. For all your misdemeanours and soulless sins in 2016, this new year, Caramello condemns you to its third birthday Disco Inferno for a raucous start to 2017.

Head honcho of the world famous Amsterdam label, Lumberjacks in Hell, Marcel Vogel brings two decades of experience to his DJ sets, jumping between Disco, Chicago House, Soul and everything in between. With his acclaimed Em Vee edits frequently being the highlight of many Caramello nights, we can't contain our excitement to be able to invite the big man to our Nottingham party. We are proud to welcome one of Chicago's most revered and respected DJs and Disco Don Rahaan over to Nottingham for his first Caramello. His brand of hard hitting disco and soulful grooves makes him on of the Motor City's most exciting and eclectic tastemakers, and is a favourite amongst the disco jockey community. Come the 6th of February we will be teaming him up with fellow disco lover and Lumberjacks in Hell collaborator Marcel Vogel for a night of unstoppable groove. He has been dropping disco and electrohouse beats to retro music heads since the 80's and we can assure you he'll be gracing us with more of the same. Bring on the 6th February!

Riot Jazz

We’re incredibly excited to announce that the 9-man strong brass band Riot Jazz, fronted by none other than MC Chunky, will be taking the roof off our 3rd Birthday celebrations at Rock City. Since their emergence on the Manchester scene in 2008, Riot Jazz have hyped crowds for the likes of The Streets, The Wailers and Dizzee Rascal. They have also blown away audiences of their own, both in the UK and abroad, at festivals such as: Glastonbury, Bestival, Big Chill, Parklife, and Soundwave. This brass bearing bunch, play a mix of funk, soul, hip-hop and aggressive jazz, along with some re-interpretations of classics that will no doubt send your sugar crazed limbs wild!
