About the venue: An Irish pub rated 4.3 from more than 5,470 reviews, in the higher price band for Bratislava, open 11am to midnight Monday to Thursday. Reviewers describe a warm traditional interior with wooden furniture and a good draught range, well suited to socialising. It sits in the tourist centre, so expect a mixed local and visitor crowd, and it can get loud when full.

Getting there: The venue is on Sedlárska in Bratislava's Old Town, which is pedestrianised — so no vehicle access to the door. The Most SNP tram stop is five minutes' walk and connects along the Danube to the rest of the city, and Bratislava hlavná stanica is a short tram ride for mainline trains from Vienna and Prague. Park outside the Old Town and walk in.
