Salford Astronomical Society presents an evening with Dr. Tana Joseph as she discusses 'Multi-Messenger Astronomy'.
Proceeds from ticket sales goes towards running community observatory and STEM outreach work.

Dr. Tana Joseph is a South African X-ray astronomer. She completed her PhD on X-ray bright binary stars at the University of Southampton in 2013. Now she is exploring the radio side of astronomical objects working as a Newton International Fellow in the Jodrell Bank Centre for Astrophysics at the University of Manchester. Her current project is to search for X-ray binary stars in two nearby galaxies, called the Magellanic Clouds, using the MeerKAT radio telescope in South Africa.
