Official Hot Chip After-Party w/ Hot Chip (DJ Set)

Since 2004, Hot Chip have contaminated the charts and airwaves with the most infectious brand of Electro Indie Pop over and over again.

Songs like 'Ready For The Floor' and 'Made In The Dark' set the Hot Chip blueprint: they continuously produce spacey jams full of funk and imaginative humor. Since then, the boys have been Mercury and Grammy nominated and loiter around the music industry, flinging hit after hit at us to prove their ain't no one taking their crown in this genre. Their recent May-released LP 'Why Make Sense' only cements this as truth. Pulling in more killer reviews, it's safe to say that the world may never get over Hot Chip.

First and foremost, they are a collective. Individually they all affirm the importance their own presences in the band, which is why we are excited to invite them to play a FULL BAND DJ set this time. Anything could happen...

So, after they perform down the road at O2 Academy Brixton, Hot Chip will join us at Brixton Jamm, for an evening of fast lane partying!

We'll have live music until 11pm, provided by host of acts curated by Absent Kelly. Then it's time to let the DJ's do their thing til the early hours.

We'll also be joined by Ollie White from The Other Tribe, a band who have been gathering a lot of notoriety in recent years. Known for pitting an infectious top line alongside quirky ethnic samples, this group are injecting British Dance music with a distinctly different shade of nostalgic floor fuel. We expect Ollie's set will harbor much of the same medicine!

Seeing as ByDayByNight have been killing it with us this summer at many of our terrace parties, we've invited their resident DJ's to provide the rest of the soundtrack for the evening. All you need to know is that they will make you dance!
