The Folklore Rooms presents Sam Tomlins with his debut headline Brighton Show on Friday 1'st March 2024. 

Lotus is Sam Tomlins debut EP which will be released Thursday 29th Feb showcasing a project he's worked on during 2023 with notable producers.

Fusing together interesting rhythm patterns picked out from the Neo-Jazz world, Sam Tomlins (he/him) is layering noodling Jazz rhythms with cathartic conversational lyrics, his unique style is brought to life with the release of his debut Ep 'Lotus' out 29th Feb.

Drawing inspiration from London Jazz artists Oscar Jerome, Yussef Dayes, Tom Misch, and Jamiroquai. His music is characterised by bouncy rhythms, smooth breakdowns and consistent evolution. Playing lead guitar, arranging the tracks and crooning both lead and backing vocals, Sam's vibrant stylistic choices find harmony in the balance of complexity and simplicity. His upcoming singles are infused with his vibrant personality, a body of music that encourages the listener to build from within and accept their own complexities.
