Man Can’t Fly, 4-piece Alt/Acoustic-Rock outfit from Bradford, have literally exploded onto the scene with the release of their debut self-released single, “Don’t Waste my Time”, championed by BBC Introducing and achieved 7 plays on BBC Radio 1 daytime! Drawing influence from artists such as Counting Crows, Five for Fighting, Twin Atlantic, El- bow, Mumford & Sons and Coldplay, the band certainly fire up the heart and head with their emotive sounds and memorable hooks.
The band formed in the autumn of 2012 and consist of: Ben Wadsworth (Vocals/Piano/ Guitar), James Waterhouse – (Vocals/Guitar), Sam Connor (Bass) and Oliver Cottenham (Drums/percussion). The sound combines ‘singer songwriter’ storytelling, intoxicating melo- dies and addictive choruses, fused together by 3-piece harmonies and the fiery, full sound of a band that love and live for their music!!!
Post Radio 1 airplay has seen the band play to hundreds at Reading and Leeds Festival on the BBC Introducing stage and most recently played to an over 1500-strong lively crowd at Bingley Music Live.
The band have since released their second self-release in the shape of their 'Take Me Home EP', OUT NOW on iTunes
