Join Sarah Knights, founder of the Chappel Chocolate House and learn all about chocolate, where it comes from, how it is grown and processed and how to make delicious home made chocolates.
Sarah uses good quality Belgian chocolate and during the workshop you will learn how to temper this chocolate to make sheets of decorated and flavoured chocolate and how to work with moulds and transfer sheets to make beautiful decorations for desserts and cakes.
This workshop will be packed full of chocolate demonstrations that are easy to follow and it will be good fun, full of information and informal so if you want to get up and get involved, that's great but if you prefer to sit and take notes, that's fine too!
Tickets cost just £25 to include refreshments, a full cooking demo, chocolate tasting and a Suffolk Market Events Goodie Bag complete with recipes and a sample of Sarah’s home made chocolate including chocolate made at the workshop. You will also have the opportunity to purchase a gorgeous selection of Sarah’s home made chocolates, direct from the producer - the perfect Christmas present.
The workshop will start at 11am and run until 1pm. The award winning Lavenham Farmers' Market will be taking place at the same time, downstairs in the main hall so we do recommend arriving early in order to get time to look around the market.
