After an incredible performance at Belgrave Music Hall for this years 'This Must Be the Place' Festival, Lazy Day return to Leeds in 2019 for a headline show not to be missed!

Lazy Day began life in 2014 as the solo bedroom project of Tilly Scantlebury. Self-recording her tracks on Garageband and making
them available online, she quickly gained attention and praise from respected music websites and blogs. Since then Lazy Day have
steadily gone from strength to strength, expanding to a four-piece band with a
sound as intimate and dreamy as it is biting and bold.
Their debut EP 'Ribbons' was released in September 2017 and was played by Lauren Laverne, Steve Lamacq and Gideon Coe on
BBC 6 Music. 2017 also saw Lazy Day complete their first headline UK tour,
playing 12 shows up and down the country and selling out
both London and Bristol.
2018 hasn't slowed down for Lazy Day, with the release of recent single
'Weird Cool' on Art is Hard Records, a string of sold out
headline shows, and support tours with Jay Som, Alex Lahey, Amber Arcades and Childcare. Lazy Day have just come out of the
studio and finished their next batch of new songs after receiving funding from PRS and Festival Republic ReBalance scheme. Their
second EP is set for release early 2019, followed by a headline UK and EU tour.
‘Weird Cool’ follows Lazy Day’s now long-since sold-out Record Store Day 2015 split 7” single ‘Portrait’ and their 7” single
‘Disappear’ / ‘All The Time’ which was accompanied by a trippy video, hailed by DIY Mag as “yet more evidence of Tilly’s growing
ambitions, as she hits down on the accelerator"
