CORMORANTS are Ellen Morgan on electric guitar and midi interface
and Wolfgang Küchler on acoustic. Both of us sing and write the songs.
Influences noted by our fans include Billy Bragg, Elvis Costello, Joe
Strummer, Ray Davies. We also think we’ve been influenced by The Cure,
Talking Heads and The Smiths, and the Waterboys.

HIDDEN TIDE is the alias of Bristol musician Jane Parsons, who also takes on
harsh material with great invention, using electric guitar and
programmed music.

Her songs have been described as the
soundtrack to an (unmade) Tarantino movie, and tread a still lonely path
shared by artists like Nadine Shah, while channeling the best of 80s
synth-pop.
