April sees STFD celebrate by lining up one of their personal favourites - Kraak & Smaak. The unique funk and disco sounds of the Dutch production trio have kept them in the game for over 12-years. They've graced some of the biggest stages, and made it onto rotation worldwide, so it's a privilege to have them playing at Jamm.
Joining them we have Russ Chimes, LCAW - making his UK debut, a very special guest and loads more.
No strangers to the disco scene, Kraak & Smaak have been releasing records on UK label Jalapeno Records since 2003. Receiving industry support from the likes of Annie Mac, Jamiroquai, and the Chemical Brothers and more. Since their 2013 US chart topping third album Chrome Sparks, Kraak & Smaak have been making appearances at huge festivals such as Glastonbury, Bestival, Lovebox - their next stop is Brixton Jam for STFD.
Pop savvy dance producer Russ Chimes will be in support on the night. Russ has been has been dubbed as one of the hottest current emerging young producers, remixers and DJs racking up an arsenal of remixes for the likes of Mark Ronson, Booka Shade, and Ellie Goulding. Fusing energetic driving beats with an irresistible groove, Russ Chimes lives the life of the fast lane – prepare to be taken over.
Making his UK debut will be LCAW. At only 19-years-old German producer LCAW has wasted no time in establishing himself as part of the scene - remixing the likes of London Grammar, ZHU, and Moon Boots racking up millions of plays on his SoundCloud page in the process
Continuing with the European mix STFD are bringing is Dutch DJ Wantigga. An absolute mastermind when it comes to re-discovering RnB-gems, Wantigga draws upon influences from the likes of Disclosure and Kaytranada - you will soon be seeing this rising star everywhere, make sure you check him out at Jamm first.
Racking up heaps of support from revered French Electronic label Kitsuné, Danglo is an emerging talent that we're happy to support. Exploring the revolving sounds around UK bass, house and indie, Danglo will be bringing some fresh tunes. And there's a very special guest tba.
As usual, we're fully encouraging everyone to get in the tropical spirit and wear the most sunshine infused outfits and/or accessories you can get hold of - this is Hawaii in London! Jamm will once again be transformed into a tropical paradise - expect tropical fruit, tropical decor and tropical gimmicks. More details coming soon...
