Kieron Phelan + Peace Signs

+ Support from Dazey and The Last of the Lovely Days

Keiron Phelan & Peace Signs
return to The Folklore Rooms to present their elegantly fashioned, '70s tinged, baroque art-pop. From Bacharach to Bolan and back again as The Divine Comedy collides with Steve Harleyesque 'tude.

Dazey
are a freshly minted Brighton based indie soul band blending bluesy vocals with vibrant bass lines.

The Last of the Lovely Days play catchy indie-pop inspired by all of their favourite things - jangle, pop-punk, 60s girl groups, 80s new wave, and whatever takes their fancy - mixed into a tasty melodic cocktail.

"A literate pop project mixing romantic longing with international diplomacy. Phelan and his excellent band wishing to sail away from our troubled times in a manner reminiscent of Kevin Ayres' 'Toujours le Voyage' or John Cale's 'Ship of Fools' "
MOJO (4 stars)

"Keiron Phelan, previously of State River Widening, littlebow and Smile Down Upon Us, leads from the front to marshall a cast of collaborators in delightful surprises. Bristling with all-star, outre indie talent, Peace Signs are as witty as they are charming, as wry as they are inventive."
Shindig! (5 stars)

"Trying to pin this down is tricky and that's the point. Flashes of the KInks, elements of pre-Space Oddity Bowie, nods to Steve Harley, a dash of Neil Hannon and a pinch of Bacharach's orchestral pop."
