⭐ ERIC RUSHTON

Eric's one of the best comedians in the current crop of breakthrough acts who are being lined up for debut TV appearances and UK tour shows. Since his comedy debut in 2014, Eric Rushton has been mixing with the best newcomers on the comedy scene, and impressing audiences with his intelligent, playful material and likeable, self-deprecating stage persona.

In January 2020 he won the prestigious 'Leicester Mercury Comedian of The Year' award - an award that was previously won by the likes of Romesh Ranganathan, Jason Manford, Jimmy Carr and Jonny Vegas on their way to stardom. Acts are nominated for the award show by some of the biggest comedy promoters in the UK.

⭐ SCOTT BENNETT (BBC1 Live at the Apollo, Comedians' Comedian Best Act Winner 2020, 'Panelbeaters ' with Jason Manford, support for Michael McIntyre, Jason Manford and John Bishop)

Scott had to cancel his last Stand Up in the Basement show due to some work with the BBC. But he's back for July and looking forward to it!

Stylishly shirted, Yorkshire-born Scott Bennett delivers wry observations on the absurdity of modern living. His sharply-written routines, drawn from real-life experiences have been delighting audiences across the country; except in Yorkshire, where they are deeply suspicious of his shirts.

Likeable, with a warm and engaging delivery, he is a Yorkshire live wire with an undeniable no nonsense logic.

His last two shows Leap Year and Relax were nominated for 'Best Show', he was Chortle's one to watch two years running, and at the end of 2020, in the Comics Comic awards Scott was voted “Best Act” a prestigious award decided by comedians and promoters in the industry. He was also nominated for 'Best Club Comedian' by Chortle in 2022. He's starred on BBC One's Live at the Apollo and supported on tour Jason Manford and John Bishop, as well as Michael McIntyre.

‘Great material, great delivery, a very funny man' – Rob Brydon
‘Without doubt live comedy's best kept secret' – The Evening Standard
‘Clearly has a big future, flashes of Peter Kay, Jason Manford and John Bishop' – Bruce Dessau, Amused Moose
'The highlight of the evening, naturally hilarious' **** – Broadway Baby Edinburgh Fringe
'A joy to watch' – Chris Ramsey
'A generous helping of wonderfully witty comic observations about life's little quirks, relationships and human behaviour. Served by a Yorkshireman with relentless enthusiasm and boundless energy' – BBC
