The University of Suffolk Midwifery Society, alongside the School of Health Sciences are delighted to announce and invite you to their first Normal Birth Conference: Normal Birth and Contemporary Culture. The Conference will be held in the Auditorium on the 2nd floor, Waterfront Building, Neptune Quay, University of Suffolk. The Society aims to inspire and nurture student midwives, as well as encourage local midwives, other healthcare professionals and educators, alongside service users to be a part in this fantastic event - celebrating normal birth and local practices. The Conference is held to welcome our new cohort of students, to celebrate the successes of current students and as part of leaver's week.
We have a fantastic line up of Nationally acclaimed speakers as well as speakers from local NHS Trusts and local organisations - all with a passion for promoting a positive birth experience. Confirmed speakers include:
