BUDS.

From the remnants of the last embers of their local scene to blazing their own trail in the DIY sphere. Buds. first met with an aim to make music for putting your fist in the air and singing along in spite of your existential dread. Showing love for all things anthemic they combine catchy hooks with the passion of punk, emo, hardcore or just whatever they are feeling at the time.

They released their first EP: Buds. in 2019 on Ol’ Boat Records. Made up of unused material to set the blueprint of their loud catchy songs for small grotty venues.

In 2021 they followed up with their second EP: Full on Beth Shalom records taking the sound of their debut into a far more existential route and focusing heavily on mental health. Once they were able to return to touring, the following year saw Buds. play more shows than they’d ever played before in a single year including festival slots at Teddy Rocks and 2000 Trees.

In 2023 Buds. released their 3rd EP: Stop on Beth Shalom Records completing the trilogy. The EP takes their sound built up from the previous 2 releases and takes a thematic direction of healing and acceptance. Following it’s release, Buds. played their first appearances at Manchester Punk Festival and The Fest in Gainesville.
