Hailing from Newcastle and only 22 years old, Skantia is the man behind some of the biggest dubs of recent years, with his productions becoming firm favourite's in the sets of the one and only Andy C. So much so in fact that Andy C has signed the young producer to become part of his RAM Records family, joining the likes of Chase & Status, Wilkinson & Subfocus.

The journey of Skantia’s signing to RAM and subsequent debut single is quite the whirlwind story. Back in 2015 he started selling tickets for his local Drum & Bass night - and after a while was offered the chance to become a resident DJ at that party. Wanting to step it up a level, he soon realised that the best way to do that was to start producing. Three years down the line he caught the attention of the team at RAM Records - leading to the release of an EP on ProgRAM back in January of this year, as well as earning a feature on the 'Drum & Bass Annual'. Then in May, Skantia's RAM debut ‘Cluster’ was released, and it's undeniable quality was something that couldn’t be ignored.

This is just the beginning for the Newcastle native on his journey as part of the RAM family, and one thing is for sure - this year will no doubt be the start of something exciting for this promising young producer and DJ! 💥
