A Band Called Tom take on Lending Room for their biggest Leeds show yet!
More info about the band below...
A Band Called Tom is the playful pseudonym of rising indie surfer, Tom Besley, who combines influences from the 50’s and 60’s (The Beach Boys, The Beatles, etc.) with more contemporary bands like The Vaccines, and Circa Waves resulting in a sound reminiscent of high school summer breaks, overflowing with sun, surf, and youthful sensibility. Linking up with his band that he met at music college in Leeds, he’s played shows at numerous venues across the city, from Lending Room and Oporto to Headrow House and a sold-out support slot at the highly esteemed Wardrobe. Having appreciated national airplay from BBC Introducing on his previous singles, The Tennis EP will see off the year and set ABCT up to be the next big wave rolling through in 2022.

‘a musical triumph, marrying real emotional depth and relatability, with a very welcome dose of the much-missed summer we’re all craving’ – Chalkpit Records
