REVOLT Presents: Black Bordello + Seven Red Lions + Medium Sized Dog

REVOLT transforms Brighton venues into spaces of solidarity, amplifying emerging artists to raise crucial funds for medical and healthcare relief in Palestine.

What's happening in Gaza is not just a crisis, it is the destruction of an entire society.

For more than two years, Israel's military campaign has created a catastrophic humanitarian emergency. Since October 2023, at least 72,740 people have been killed, and more than 172,192 have been injured, the vast majority civilians, including tens of thousands of women and children. Many more deaths continue to be recorded as bodies are recovered and violence persists.

Famine-level conditions are spreading, with large numbers of children suffering from acute malnutrition and urgently needing food, clean water, and medical care. Access to essential supplies is being severely restricted. Gaza's health system has been systematically devastated: at least 94% of hospitals and healthcare facilities have been damaged or destroyed, and 735 attacks on healthcare have been documented since October 2023.

Despite global protests demanding a ceasefire, Western governments, including the UK, continue to provide weapons and political support to Israel, enabling this devastation to continue.

Humanitarian aid remains blocked or constrained, but donations to trusted medical and relief organisations are a vital lifeline. In Gaza, where people are being denied their basic rights and means to survive, every act of solidarity matters.

Black Bordello

Black Bordello is a South London art-rock and dark-cabaret collective spearheaded by frontwoman Sienna Bordello. Their sound fuses vaudeville, post-punk, gothic rock, jazz, and chamber pop. Known for cinematic storytelling, the band tackles themes of mortality, transformation, and the metaphysical.

Seven Red Lions

Seven Red Lions is an alternative rock band based in London, bringing together a diverse and dynamic lineup that fuels their genre-defying sound. The band consists of lead singer and guitarist David Lion from Mexico, bassist and vocalist Sara Priegue from Portugal, drummer Omar Perez from Venezuela, and guitarist Magnus from Sweden. Their unique mix of influences from around the world shapes a musical experience that transcends boundaries and ignites fresh energy in the rock scene.

The band is known for their electrifying live performances, which are a celebration of uninhibited expression, raw energy, and authenticity. Seven Red Lions doesn’t just play music—they create a compelling atmosphere where fans can experience a new world of sound and emotion. As they continue to evolve and build their presence in the alternative rock scene, the band is ready to lead the way with their exciting sound and passionate performances.

Medium Sized Dog

Brighton based songwriters Lily Day and Lauren Maddison have been making music together as a duo since September 2024, playing regularly across the South East of England. Now joined by the talents and heft of a rhythm section in the form of drummer Esme Wright and bassist Ben Sidaway, Medium Sized Dog is truly set in motion. Pulling influences from the likes of Big thief, PJ Harvey and Jeff Buckley they hold similar values and candidness in their songwriting and instrumentation. Sometimes loud and angry, sometimes quiet and tender, but always honest.
