This is Me. Speaking. Performing. Networking.

This is Me is a keynote speaking, networking and performance event that focuses on inspirational women from the South of England and beyond.
The purpose of the event is to celebrate the success of women in their industries, as well as honouring the 100 years that have passed since the first women were granted the right to vote in the United Kingdom.

The event will begin at 6pm and consist of talks, performances and art installations, all produced and performed by women. The other part of the evening will consist of a networking hub, where local businesses, creatives and designers will share their work and expertise in the beautiful Live Lounge of Canvas.
We aim to raise money for the Fawcett Society, who are the UK’s leading charity campaigning for gender equality and women’s rights.

We have secured a series of acclaimed women of industry to be present and speak about their personal experiences concerning their lives and careers:

Chloe Schendel-Wilson, is a Bournemouth University alumnus and former SUBU President who now has a career as a parliamentary officer. 

Anya Kay,  is an ex-athlete of the GB Bobsleigh Women's Team.  

Sarah Ali Choudhury, is an award-winning Indian food expert, TV chef and food columnist.

Lou Brown, a successful entrepreneur and inspirational speaker local to Bournemouth. 

The evening will be presented by acclaimed actress, model and presenter Anna Cribb, who is a highly successful parenting YouTuber.

WHO WE ARE
We are a team of five final year students at Arts University Bournemouth studying Creative Events Management. Our team has a wealth of knowledge in all areas of event management with different individual strengths that we believe will diversify This is Me as an event. We are collectively passionate about the recognition of the success of women in business and industry - mainly because we all aim to be successful women in business and industry!
