Federation of the Disco Pimp is Scotland’s premier exponent of modern funk and known for their blistering live sets. A 7-piece band blending elements of old-school funk, disco, psychedelic and jazz, FOTDP formed in 2010 in Glasgow, Scotland.
One of Craig Charles' favourite bands at the moment not only played regularly on BBC 6 Music Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show but also appeared for live studio sessions and airplay on his show!

Always ready to hit the clubs, armed with a heaving box of 7” vinyl. His aim? As it has been on all his global travels and international DJ shows, to whip crowds into a frenzy with his crazy collection of vintage vinyl gems. His hugely popular ‘Boca Plays his 45s’ mix series comes close to capturing this magic, and a DJ in his element. Playing 45x45s in under an hour, he touches on vintage breaks and grooves from the history of funky music with a deft blend of disco, early rap, soul, and of course, all that goodtime funk!
After releasing his new record 'Dig Eat Beats repeat' Boca 45 has exploded with multiple plays on BBC 6 music from the likes of Huey Morgan and Don Letts.
