About the venue: A craft brewery, restaurant and cocktail bar rated 4.5 from around 510 reviews, mid-priced. Two scheduling points: it is closed on Sundays and closes at 9pm Monday to Thursday, giving a 7pm start two hours. Reviewers describe street-front seating plus a large patio at the back, and repeatedly praise the beer and the room for conversation.
Getting there: The venue is on Capitol Avenue in Midtown Sacramento. The nearest light rail, 7th & Capitol, is a twenty-one-minute walk towards downtown, so it is not a practical connection — most attendees will drive or take a rideshare. Midtown has metered street parking that is free in the evenings, and the grid layout makes the area easy to navigate.
