What if making new friends felt less random?

On Wednesday, June 3rd, we’re turning Soundtrack into an AI-powered social experience where technology helps spark real human connection.

Everyone attending will fill out a short questionnaire covering interests, values, hobbies, personality, and social preferences. Using that information, our algorithm will generate your most compatible friend matches for the night.

Whether you’re new to the city, looking to meet people outside your usual circles, or just down for a different kind of social event, this is a fun way to connect with people you’ll actually click with.

Come solo, bring a friend, and leave with new ones.

How it works:

• Upon arrival, you’ll take a matching questionnaire built by Matchbox’s team of relationship scientists and curated by your host.
• The Matchbox algorithm will identify your optimal match at the party, based on relationship science, AI, and Nobel Prize-winning economics.
• After mingling with the whole group, matches are revealed!

What to expect:

• The matching process is highly intentional—come with an open mind.
• If your match isn’t love at first sight, that’s okay! The algorithm is designed for long-term compatibility, so at baseline, you’ll be values-aligned.
• At the end of the day, this will be a great group of single people. Enjoy meeting everyone, and remember to be kind.

Event Structure:

• This event is highly intentional and the matching will proceed on schedule. Please be on time.
• 7:30pm—the event begins on time, bar opens
• 8:30pm—doors close, The Algorithm begins computing matches
• 9:00pm—matches revealed
• 11:00pm—event concludes

FAQs:

Q: What age range is the event for?
A: This event is for mid-twenties to late-thirties.

Q: What if I don’t get a match?
A: We aim to maintain a 50/50 male to female ratio but cannot guarantee that all attendees will show up, as life happens. If there is an uneven split, some matches will be paired platonically. If you do not get a match, you are entitled to receive a free ticket to a future event of their choice!

✨ TICKETS:

• Early Bird – $20 ticket. Guests must arrive before 8:00 pm. Any Early Bird ticket holders arriving after 8:00 pm may need to queue or risk not being allowed entry, depending on capacity for guaranteed entry.
• General Admission – $30 ticket. Guests may arrive any time from the event starting until 9.00 pm. If guests arrive later than the arrival window, queuing may be necessary, especially if the venue is nearing capacity.
• On-the-Door – $40 ticket. Only purchase if about to be let into the event and if capacity permits.

🎫 When the event sells out, there will be more tickets released at 8.00pm on the day of the event and entrance will be at the venues/hosts discretion.

✅ You do not need to match with someone on the app to come to an event.
