Wheels and Fins Festival 2019

FRIENDLY FIRES JOIN WHEELS AND FINS FESTIVAL AS SUNDAY NIGHT HEADLINERS
With support from Mystery Jets and The Social Singing Choir.
Even more acts have been announced for Kent’s beachside music and action sports festival, including
DJ sets from Radio 1’s Gemma Cairney & Jack Saunders, bands and DJs spanning acoustic
performances to sunset house sets; plans for The Cove built from 14 shipping container have been
unveiled featuring a Silent Disco and much more, plus a selection of mouth-watering bars and
another injection of adrenaline pumping activities.

Wheels and Fins, the boutique music and action sports festival based at Joss Bay near Broadstairs in Kent, is thrilled to announce that punk-rock duo, Slaves, will headline and curate the lineup for ‘The Lighthouse’ Main Stage on Saturday 7th September 2019. As heady as the music that Slaves makes themselves, Laurie Vincent and Issac Holman have handpicked a bill of breaking talent fit to blow the speakers into the North Sea including, Willie J Healey, Lady Bird, Queen Zee, Para Fiction, Hockeysmith, FEET, MarthaGunn, and Ditz

Taking place over two days in September - Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th - Wheels and Fins combines the best bits of skate and surf culture with quality live and electronic music. So far, the 2019 lineup includes a Hospital Records Takeover with drum ‘n’ bass legends, S.P.Y, Kings Of The Rollers, Logistics, Nu:Tone and more, and spanning all things electronic, a Ministry of Sound Takeover featuring Noisia, Redlight, DJ Zinc, Barley Legal plus other leading names. Just 90-minutes from central London and with stunning views out to sea, a plethora of activities such as skate and surf competitions can also be found at this hidden gem of a festival.
