Local Stockport lad, now based in Manchester, Mike Newall is a charming and laid-back comedian with well-crafted jokes and a wonderfully dry delivery. This is observational comedy at its best with razor-sharp timing combined with a keen sense of dark sarcasm.

He most recently appeared on Britain’s Got Talent where he impressed the judges so much that Simon Cowell said..it was like an Oasis concert where the music ran out and Liam decides to tell a few jokes!

In 2010 he performed his first Edinburgh Fringe Show Mr. Famous followed in 2011 with his show Mike Newall’s Get Better Box

That same year he headlined the prestigious Big Value Comedy early show then returned in 2013 with his show Six Weddings.

In 2013 he was personally asked to be the support act for Alun Cochrane’s 2012-2013 Moments of Alun tour.

In 2016 & 2017 Mike took two more shows to the Fringe; High on Gravy and Desert Boot-leg Island Disks.

In 2019 his brand new Edinburgh show titled Mike Newall: Re:Newall received rave reviews.

Manchester has had more than its fair share of comedy heritage over the years, he is, without doubt, the latest smooth-talking, globetrotting Manc export and could even go on to become the greatest. Mike has that rare knack of being like the boy next door but with huge star quality. He’s like your best, most humorous friend – only funnier!

EDDY BRIMSON

To say East Ender Eddy Brimson has a colourful past is something of an understatement. A self-confessed former football hooligan before turning his hands to better use as a writer and comedian, Eddy has written a host of amusing anecdotal books, penned and hosted a top three selling video ‘Teargas and Tantrums’, and is also a regular “talking head’ for numerous radio and TV shows on subjects as diverse as football, dodgy builders and sexy baldness. As an actor, he has appeared on such diverse programmes as Absolutely Fabulous, The Thin Blue Line, Casualty, The Bill and EastEnders, where he played, you’ve guessed it, an East End villain, who torched Frank’s car lot.

Eddy was also a presenter on the Bravo TV show The Basement covering topics as varied as the British Lawn Mower Grand Prix to a live hair transplant. Eddy is a prolific writer, having penned seven best-selling books. With sales topping 160,000, Eddy has built himself a cult following among British and European football fans.
