High Focus Records X-Mas Party w/ Jam Baxter

High Focus Records have lined up a killer hip hop Christmas party to celebrate the launch of Jam Baxter's new album '..so we ate them whole' produced by Chemo.

There’re some of the finest acts in UK hip hop in for this one, featuring performances from High Focus favourites Jam Baxter, The Four Owls, Dirty Dike & Edward Scissortongue as well as several of UK Hip Hop's brightest emerging talents.

High Focus was established in 2010 to offer a platform for new rappers and producers in the UK. With a steady stream of diverse releases during their tenure, the label has amassed a strong following selling out past events inc. Electric Ballroom.

Heading up Room 1 is Jam Baxter & Chemo. As one fifth of UK rap super-ensemble Contact Play, SMB vice-executive and one third of brand spanking new rap super outfit Dead Players, it is fair to say that Baxter is just about as prolific as they come, whilst Chemo is behind the engineering and recording of some of the most quality albums to break out of the UK.

The Four Owls are one of the hottest collectives to emerge from UK hip hop in recent years. Four MCs, with four different approaches to spitting verses makes for a great show.

Dirty Dike will also be on hand to rock the mic. Dike’s ‘Champion Fraff’, with Jam Baxter, Ronnie Bosh, Mr Key and Edward Scissortongue was swiftly hailed as one of the most exciting releases that the UK Hip Hop scene had witnessed in years. Scissortongue will also be stepping up on the night.

Rounding up Room One, will be the lyrical styling’s of Onoe Capone, Ocean Wisdom, Smellington Piff, Jack Jetson, DJ Jives with a Jungle set, and some open mic with DJ Madnice. Whilst Room Two will feature Chemo, DJ Sammy B-Side, Rebs, DJ Madnice Bozak, and DJ Fingerfood.
