Painted Bird is the solo moniker of Angus Rogers, Brighton-born poet and frontman of jazz-punk group Opus Kink. The spirit of this project rests somewhere between dark, sparse Americana and gothic traditional folk, drawing on love, death and nightmares for its themes.
