Join Space for Girls for a wholesome autumn day out with fresh air, friendly faces and pumpkin picking at Lower Drayton Farm! Come solo or bring a friend—this is a lovely opportunity to connect with other women and enjoy the season together. 🤎

Choose your walking option

Option 1: Mini hike + pumpkin picking
Meet at Penkridge Station at 10:35am. We’ll take a longer route of approximately 6.95km to Lower Drayton Farm, then walk around 30 minutes back to the station afterwards.

Allow approximately 2 hours 15–30 minutes of walking, excluding time at the farm.

Option 2: Shorter walk + pumpkin picking
Meet at Penkridge Station at 11:05am. We’ll walk approximately 30 minutes each way, with time at the farm in between.

Allow approximately 1 hour of walking, excluding time at the farm. This is a beginner-friendly option for anyone who prefers a shorter stroll.

At the farm 🎃

Explore the pumpkin patch, Pumpkin Village, autumn photo opportunities and undercover carving barn. The Pumpkin Café offers hot drinks, hot food, seasonal snacks, fresh doughnuts and s’mores!

Farm admission

Please budget for your chosen farm ticket. Online prices are:

• £6 — entry only
• £10 — entry + pumpkin
• £13 — entry + pumpkin + small bag of veg
• £15 — entry + pumpkin + large bag of veg

Gate prices are £2 more. Check whether your SFG booking includes farm admission before purchasing separately.

What to bring 🧥

• Sturdy outdoor footwear or wellies—terrain may be uneven or muddy
• Layers and waterproofs suitable for the weather
• Water for the walk
• A payment card—the farm is cashless

Getting there 🚆

Penkridge Station can be reached directly from Birmingham New Street. Please check train times and fares before travelling and arrive in time for your chosen meeting point.

Free visitor parking is available at Lower Drayton Farm for those travelling there by car.

This is an 18+ women-only event.

Please only reserve a ticket if you are confident that you can attend. If your plans change, please cancel or return your ticket so another woman can take your place.

By booking, you acknowledge that outdoor walking involves natural risks, including uneven or slippery ground. Attendees are responsible for assessing their own fitness and taking reasonable care throughout the walk.

Photos and videos may be taken during the event and shared on Space for Girls’ social media pages. If you would prefer not to be photographed or filmed, please tell the walk lead on the day or contact us beforehand.
