The most authentic tribute to The Stone Roses. Reni's beats. Mani's grooves, John's riffs and Ian's monkey business.
The Ultimate Stone Roses are the only tribute to The Roses to hail from Manchester. Each member is a die hard fan of the original band who has dedicated themselves to mastering the music of their heroes. Playing songs from the seminal first record, the second coming and early fan favourites like 'Sally Cinnamon' and 'Mersey Paradise', The Ultimate Stone Roses give their audiences the most authentic experience possible.
'Ian' like the rest of the band, adored The Stone Roses since the lates 80s. The Chorltonian possesses more than a passing resemblance to king monkey and with his iconic money t-shirt, trademark Manc swagger and gentle vocals, it's like watching a Young Ian Brown.
Born in Heywood 'Reni' discovered the drums at 15 and was heavily involved in the Manchester music scene of the early 90s. He wears the bucket hat and Brazil top that made Reni so recognisable and his drum kit is the same warm blue with the lemon bass drum that Reni played the recent tours.
A veteran of the Leeds music scene that produced the likes of the Kaiser Chiefs, Stockport-born 'Mani' is a very accomplished musician who pours his passion for The Roses into every note he plays. Mani's precision comes from his vast experience and his faithful Mani grooves possess a professional authenticity which capture all the subtleties of the songs you love.
'John's' passion for The Stone Roses is second-to-none and he always produces a faithful replica of any song that the ultimates cover. Hailing from The Roses hometown of Altrincham and living on the same street that Ian and John grew up on (Sylvan Avenue), it's no wonder his Les Paul guitar sounds so similar to Mr Squire's.
