If you're joining UCL this year then you’re in for a treat as we're taking things to new levels with our best Welcome Week line-up ever. Your welcome experience will start at London's most iconic club, Ministry of Sound and with four rooms of banging house, dance and techno music there's arguably no better place on earth to hear the world’s greatest DJs play the world’s best music. We'll be stopping at some HUGE venues along the way, the best the capital has to offer, before ending the week where we started.

Start at Ministry, keep the pace up all week, and end at Ministry of Sound again for the BIGGEST closing party.

These headline events are your ticket to the very best of the city’s club scene, featuring top-tier venues, immersive production, and incredible DJ lineups. We’ve teamed up with nightlife pros Milkshake, whose years of experience ensure our Freshers’ events are among the best in London – year after year. 🔵 ANY OTHER PERKS?

The wristband gets you guaranteed access to some of the best club in London and queue jump (dedicated queue) for both events at Ministry of Sound.

The Nightlife Wristband will save you money; not only by being cheaper than individual tickets in total, but by avoiding the booking fees that come with individual tickets!

Please note: The Students' Union website & this fatsoma page is the only place that official Freshers’ Nightlife 2026 wristbands will be available from. Any wristbands on sale elsewhere are not official and will not give you access to any official Students Union UCL Freshers 2025

Each venue does their own security check and will turn away anyone without ID, regardless of how old you look. DO NOT forget your ID or Student ID (Student ID will not do as it does not show your date of birth) Dress codes vary from event to event so be sure to check out all the info before you attend!

Tickets are non-refundable and management reserves the right of admission, unless the event is canceled then you will receive a full refund.

🔵 WHEN WILL I GET MY WRISTBAND?

When you make your purchase, you’ll be sent an email confirmation with a ticket and order number.

Collection will be on campus and more information will be added here closer to September, as well as sent to you directly.

WRISTBANDS CANNOT BE COLLECTED AT THE VENUE, THEY MUST BE COLLECTED FROM A RECEPTION IN ADVANCE.

Yes! Over the welcome period UCL hosts many events across both the University campus and the city itself. From boat parties, to trips out of town there is so much to do and explore! 

In terms of nightlife, there are also other club nights, boat parties (with after parties), your Wednesday night sports night and more, tickets & info for these can be found on https://studentsunionucl.org/tags/nightlife
