Afropulse is a high-energy 6-piece live band bringing a fresh, electrifying take on Afrobeat, infused with the soul of Fuji, the texture of Jazz, and the emotional edge of modern pop and gospel. Made up of long-time friends and collaborators, the band is more than music — it’s a shared pulse that connects stories, cultures, and people.

At the heart of Afropulse is a rich blend of artistry:

• 🎤 Dami Davies and Wonu lead with vocals that range from gospel power to sultry soul.

  • Dami, a standout vocalist and member of the renowned House Gospel Choir, blends spiritual roots with smooth, genre-bending expression.

  • Wonu, a bold and magnetic performer, brings fierce confidence and depth, building.

• 🥁 Wale commands the groove on drums, grounding every song with rhythmic complexity and drive.

• 🎹 Dami (keyboard/synths) and Ope (keyboard) layer lush chords, spacey synth textures, and soulful harmonies that shape the band’s signature sound.

• 🎸 Dayo, the band’s Music Director and bassist, anchors the group with deep, funk-driven basslines and musical direction that’s both precise and dynamic.

Together, Afropulse creates a sound that bridges continents — captivating both seasoned fans of Afrobeat and new listeners drawn to its irresistible energy.

Their live shows are vibrant, genre-blurring experiences, with performances ranging from Afrobeats covers to original tracks by Wonu and Dami, whose solo works thread seamlessly into the group’s set. Nika- Making us move with Soca vibes, with beautiful Island melodies; She keeps up the rhythms with the percussions.

Fé - A soul/RnB artist from east London bringing us real and raw sound.
