What’s happening in Gaza is not just a crisis - it’s the destruction of an entire society.

After nearly two years of Israel’s assault, Gaza’s Health Ministry reports more than 63,500 people killed and over 160,000 injured. Most are civilians - women, children, and the elderly.

The situation keeps getting worse. Starvation is spreading, and hundreds of people (many of them children) have already died from hunger.

Healthcare has collapsed. Hospitals have been bombed, doctors and ambulances attacked, and medicine blocked. Only a few makeshift clinics remain, while thousands of people are still trapped under rubble.

Despite global protests and calls for a ceasefire, Western governments, including the UK, continue to send weapons and political support to Israel, enabling the destruction and suffering to continue.

But there are still ways to help. Donations to trusted medical and humanitarian groups can save lives. In Gaza, where people are being denied the basics needed to survive, every act of solidarity makes a real difference.
