Flintham Hall Bluebell Walk

Join us to walk the beautiful grounds of Flintham Hall and enjoy the spectacular annual blooming of the English Bluebell's. 

This gentle stroll takes you through the courtyard and grounds then on through the woodland and also includes access to St. Augustine's church historic churchyard, which dates back to the English Civil War, finishing at the delightfully vintage Village hall for afternoon tea. 

The route is clearly signposted throughout and you'll also receive a program with guided walk notes and points of interest on your stroll. 

Be sure to bring your camera so you can photograph the breath-taking views and local wildlife in this romantic historic setting.

The walk takes approximately 45 to 90 minutes and is a gentle stroll through the Hall's oak woodlands. Please be aware that although the majority of the route is level it is mostly in woodland and there is a flight of steps midway which mean that it's not suitable for wheelchair users or those unable to manage the descent and ascent of 12 steps. 

Children are welcome and we invite them to take part in our 'treasure trail' challenge and collect a Freddo bar at the Village Hall tea room at the end of the day.

The Village Hall Tea Room is open all day from 11am to 5pm for hot and cold drinks, Handmade cakes, chocolates, popcorn, snacks and savouries and we also offer a wonderful High Tea for those after an extra treat. 

All the proceeds from this event go directly to St. Augustine's Church and Flintham Village Hall and are used to fund future community events and activities.
