About AAROH.
www.aarohnepal.org

AAROH means, “Rise” in Nepali. AAROH focuses on raising hope and taking positive actions to balance equality in the lives of all children and women. It is officially registered under the Society Act with the District Administration Office in Kathmandu (459) and is affiliated with SWC, the Social Welfare Council
(affiliation number- 38685).

SUNAULO BHAWISHYA PROJECT

The Sunaulo Bhawishya project is organized to support “Shree Buddhodaya Primary School” in Ramechhap VDC-7 Doramba, Bodal and “Mahakali Primary School” Dhading V.D.C Bhumesthan ward no 4. Both schools are situated in remote and impoverished parts of Nepal where there are little to no effective practice in education and schooling.

The project is built and run by the surrounding communities and aims to firstly, help increase the standard of the school environment and secondly, provide relevant support and materials to students in order to ensure that they receive the best quality of education throughout their school experience. As the schools grow we hope to introduce the students to more innovative styles of learning and encourage them with alternative methods by which they can explore their talents, think independently and boost their confidence.

PLAYGROUND PROJECT

The concept for the playground project emerged as it was soon realised that Nepal, despite its abundance of land, lacked the adequate environment in which children could just be children. In fact, 95%of schools in rural areas have no playgrounds, and besides academic books there are no other sources to learn from. The lack of a suitable environment and alternative resources stymies student development and denies them the opportunity to gain the most out of their time in education. It instead forces students to either go home early or drop out completely.

However, by creating children-friendly spaces environment, while also making the children the decision makers, the Playground Project aims to nurture the students' desire for education and reduce absenteeism. Furthermore, by working together with parents, teachers and local communities the project also aims to facilitate a culture where learning and the psycho-social needs required for the well-being of children are prioritized and met.

So why not join us on the 28th and help us raise funds to support this beautiful and worthwhile cause!
