It’s time for one of the biggest Funk & Soul nights of the year – and it’s only February!

BBC Radio 6’s pragmatic and animated music show host, Mr Craig Charles is back at Brixton Jamm for a night of down right groovalicious partying!

If you are yet to experience the renowned record flipper in action, waste no time! Mr Charles always serves up a treasure trove of Funk & Soul bangers! You can always rely on Mr Charles to throw in something to send you sideways - the motion never dwindles and the dancing never stops! Dipping into the most illustrious eras of music, Craig effortlessly weaves through the biggest jams of by-gone eras whipping dancefloors up and down the country into nostalgic euphoria.

But that’s not all…

The evening’s antics will also include live music from Cantaloop – a funk fuelled horn charger who have rented out their salacious groove to some of the biggest names on the planet, from Mark Ronson to Amy Winehouse. As they proudly say of their sound ‘If that bassline don’t make you twitch, then you’re probably dead!’

 Boca 45 also joins us! As one half of the duo known as Malakai, together, they have previously been named as Zane Lowe as ‘hottest record in the world’. Loaded with sumptuous samples of Funk, Soul, Psych and Hip Hop, you can get ready for a hyper-active evening of happy dance floor antics when Boca’s in the house!
