This year's Bury Pride festival is an important occasion that brings people out onto the streets, celebrating equality and diversity together. It’s great fun to rejoice in Bury's warm and welcoming community.
Sponsored by Barclays, this year’s headline act is 90’s Pop Sensation S-Club.
The outdoor stage will be hosted by the one and only Miss Vivienne Lynsey and Tower FM. Featuring Vicky Jackson as Pink plus performances throughout the day from Freak Dance, the Gay Gordon’s, Manchester Lesbian and Gay Chorus, and many more.
Join or watch The Walking Rainbow Parade, starting from Bury Town Hall in Knowsley Street at 1.00pm. Weaving its way through the Culture Quarter and all the way up to The Rock and back, taking in major landmarks along the way. Led by Mr Wilson's Second Liners, the parade is a vibrant, colourful celebration of equality and diversity.

The Rainbow Train
Join us on Bury Pride first ever Rainbow Train on Sunday 14th April 2019!
In association with Groundwork Ambition for Ageing and The East Lancashire Railway, we will have the amazing Jess Kemp in association with The Met Bury, doing her critically acclaimed acoustic set at one end of the train while, the one and only Miss Vivienne Lynsey hosting a show tune sing-a-long on the other!
Goody bags will be given free to all our train riders.
Departing from Bury, Bolton Street at 4.25pm sharp going up to Rawtenstall and back again. Refreshments are available and some special guests too.
